Saving Bookmarks Online

I've been using several computers lately, from my Thinkpad X32, which will hopefully be fixed with this new adapter, to my desktop with it's insane amount of cords and obvious lack of portability, to my boyfriend's very old (363mhz) Dell laptop with XP, which he gave me and which I use in serious emergencies like this one. , But only my X32 has my bookmarks from Firefox on it and I have no way of getting to them. In the short time that I got it to work on the adapter, I managed to copy all the files in the Mozilla Firefox folder and put them on a compact flash card. I then replaced the files from the same folder in my Dell but although it actually updated Firefox, it apparently didn't copy over my bookmarks. So, remembering a now defunct site that I used to use for the purpose, I decided to look for a page which would let me save my bookmarks online. Not only did I find one, but it works directly with Firefox!

It sounds easy enough but is it screenreader accessible? Also, once the bookmarks are saved, do I have to log in each time I want to view them or will I be able to hit alt-b and view them in my computer as usual? If this is not accessible, then could you recommend another site similar to this for more general use? Thanks.

What about del.icio.us and google bookmarks? You'd have to log in, on either of these, to make the saved bookmarks available.

I'll consider them if this Firefox plug-in doesn't work. Thanks for the extra options. The reason why I'm excited about Foxmarks is that it seems to be able to put the bookmarks right into my browser so that I don't have to keep logging into a site every time I want to see them. Still, if these work and that one doesn't, then they're viable options and I already have a GMail account.

My apologies. I just read a bit more on this service, and it's called XMarks. Apparently, it also imports the bookmarks right into my browser, which is exactly what I want! I just don't know if it's accessible.

Well, I downloaded Xmarks and not only does it appear to be fully accessible with Firefox and NVDA but it works flawlessly! I was able to instantly syncrinise the bookmarks on my laptop and import them into my desktop just by downloading the software, installing it, logging in and syncrinising it from there. And yes, they do appear in my normal bookmarks folder directly in Firefox as if I had saved them there the traditional way! Very excited and I highly recommend this product!
